Are the hot tubs inflatable?

No, we use the Softub brand. They have been in business for over 30 years. The tubs are insulated and we purchase the 300series to give our customers the best experience. Unlike inflatable tubs, these can be used in all weather.

How big are the hot tubs?

The tubs are 6ft in diameter. It can fit 5-6 adults, 4 very comfortably.

Will this cause my electric bill to substantially increase?

NO! It costs about $15 a month to run the Softub.

What do I need to provide?

A standard 110v outlet within 35 feet of the hot tub. Water supply. We do all the set up for you. We provide all the chemicals that you will need to keep the tub perfectly clean!

Where can I put the tub?

It must go on a fairly level surface that can support it. When filled the tub weighs about 2400lbs. Backyards, decks, patios, and garages.

How much space do I need?

You need about 8 feet around and 9 ½ feet with the decking surround.

How long does it take to heat up?

We drop your rental off 2 days prior to your rental period to allow adequate time to heat.

Where does the water go when you pick up the tub?

We use a pump to remove the water in a location of your choice.

How do you clean and sanitize the tubs between rentals?

Cleanliness is our top priority! We use a sanitizing chemical solution through the tub before and after each rental. We flush the tubs with fresh water and then hand wipe it clean. We take the time to scrub every surface with soap and bleach. All of our tubs are clean and sanitized for each and every customer. Your safety is our priority.

What is your delivery area?

We deliver to the South Shore, MA and Upper Cape Cod

Do I sign a waiver?

Yes. The lessee of our tubs and equipment will sign a liability waiver and rental agreement. The signatory is responsible for any damage sustained to our equipment during your rental term and releases South Shore Hot Tub Rental from any liability should an injury occur to themselves or any guest during their rental term. Waivers are sent via Docusign.
